Have you ever thought about our solar system in which the sun is encircled by eight planets, moons, asteroids and meny other celestial bodies? turnyour attention on these planets which rotate around themselves while revolving around the sun moving in circular orbits.this revolutionoccurs as a result of the attractive force between the sun and the planets.this force is the gravitational force and due to it a centripetal force is acted on the sun which is in the centre of the solar system and this force directs the planets in a circular motion in their particular orbits.
According to this, the motion of planets is clear. but, have you ever thought of the orgin of motion of these planets which will be moving around the sun in orbits untill the end of the universe
Before considering about the motion of massive planets, let us turn our attention on the artificial objects which move about the universe such as artificial satellites/geostationary satellites. in considering about the initial motion of these which move in particular orbits around the earth they taken above the earth surface by rockets and released at a particular height with an initial horizontal velocity. then they move in a circular path under the earth’s gravitational pull. the initial horizontal velocity of these is considered as one of the major factors for the motion of them in their particular orbits. if the relevant initial velocity is not provided duely these satellites may collapse.
If the initial horizontal velocity is a compulsory factor for the motion of satellites which have a very small mass compared to the mass of planets, then wont it be a compulsory factor for the motion of planets too?(they have a very high mass and a very high inertia). then how did these massive planets obtain the initial horizontal velocity to move in their particular orbits around the sun? or who provided it?
If the initial horizontal velocity for a satellite was given by a rocket, then we have to accept that these massive planets also somehow have to obtain an initial velocity.
When we think of the occurrence of this universe billions of years ago and the motion of planets and other celestial objects it is confirmed that all these were created and maintained according to a particular plan. and the existence of the one who controls all these, the almighty god, ALLAH.
When think further and further we come across many points which prove the existence of ALLAH, the most powerful.
The sun and the planets, which move around the sun in different orbits, have very large masses. think for a moment, how many times have these planets, which revolve in their conventional orbits being one behind the other linearly?
According to physics (Newton’s law of gravitational pull) very high attractive forces occur between objects with very large masses. when the mass increases, the force between them increases and they will be attracted towards each other and will get destroyed.
As we know, space is frictionless, or else friction is so small that it can be even neglected. but a higher frictional force acts on the earth’s surface. therefore even if attractive force occur between objects on earth they may not get attracted due to the high frictional force acting against the motion of the objects (as the attractive force cancels with the frictional force). therefore objects will not move towards each other.
But in space which is frictionless, if an attraction occur between objects with very high masses, since frictional forces does not occur against the motion, very strong attractive force may occur between the objects. massive planets with very high masses even neglect the small reactive force occurring due to their high inertia and move towards each other. then these planets should attract towards each other and get destroyed.
But never these planets nor any other celestial objects have been destroyed in such a way. all these celestial objects revolve in their particular orbits independently. the galaxies also travel at enormous speeds in computed planned orbits. during these movements none of these celestial bodies cut across another path or collide with another.
Can you ever think that the earth rotating around its axis in 24 hours, revolving around the sun in 365 days, the revolution of the sun in 21.5 million years and motion of the other celestial bodies are occurring automatically with a delicate plan?
In a condition where even a human body without control may function aimlessly won’t it be against intelligence if one says that such an enormous plan functions automatically, without control? So the existence of a god, the almighty ALLAH who controls all these is very well proved.
“IT IS HE WHO CREATED THE NIGHT AND THE DAY AND THE SUN AND THE MOON. THEY SWING ALONG EACH IN AN ORBIT.” [AL-QUR’AN21:33]
The holy Qur’an contains much information on the origin and the existence of the universe. the miracle that was granted to prophet MUHAMMAD(sal) by ALLAH was the holy Qur’an, which comprises entirely of divine words of ALLAH and it was revealed 1400 years ago, where the people knew only a little about the function of the solar system and it was not even found that the earth was spherical. though man got to know this information through several experiments the same facts were revealed so many years ago in the holy Qur’an which shows that the holy Qur’an is divine. Nothing in this world functions automatically. even a computer or a machine has to be fed with data in order for it to function ‘automatically’. this very well proves the existence of ALLAH, the controller of our universe.
